QB Sync Made Easy Release Note: December Update 1.24

Learn about the enhancements and bug fixes to the QB Sync for a better syncing experience.

This release note will provide details on bug fixes and incorporation of new features on the app.

What’s New in QB Sync Made Easy

Bug Fixing

Known Issue:

Previously, blank Salesforce fields were causing errors during synchronization with QuickBooks, disrupting the sync process.

Resolved:

Fields that cause errors when empty in QuickBooks are now dynamically excluded from the JSON payload if their corresponding Salesforce values are blank. This fix applies to QuickBooks objects such as Customer, Vendor, Item, Payment, Time Activity, and Invoice, ensuring successful record syncs even with empty optional fields in Salesforce.

Please Note: Fixes for other objects will be included in future versions.

Major Enhancements

1. Direct support access from the setup page

The newest QB Sync Made Easy update lets systems detect synchronization errors caused by missing parent records when syncing QuickBooks objects to Salesforce.

Now, the system will automatically identify issues and retry with parent creation, reducing manual intervention and ensuring seamless data sync.

2. Sync QuickBooks Data to Multiple Salesforce Objects

After the recent update, a single QuickBooks object can easily sync data into multiple Salesforce objects, allowing business owners to achieve greater flexibility to meet client requirements.

Feature Update

A new feature has been added that will help in addressing the lack of real-time webhook events for QuickBooks objects, like projects.

Key Features Are:

Customizable Sync Intervals

Users can now sync intervals ranging from 1 to 24 hours, enabling customized and timely updates.

Automated Job Execution

Our system retrieves updates from QuickBooks at the specified interval and synchronizes the changes with Salesforce accordingly.

Versatile Use Cases, including

1. Non-Real-Time Updates

Periodically sync data as an alternative to real-time updates.

2. Data Mismatched Resolution

This feature addresses sync discrepancies caused by server downtimes or missed webhooks, ensuring smoother and more reliable data integration.
