This release iteration offers many new enhancements to optimize your syncing experience. With a focus on user experience and permission criteria, this update brings major updates related to the free and paid versions of the app for better accessibility of QuickBooks Online and Salesforce integration.
Users can now enable or disable syncing on a per-object basis while performing real-time sync from QuickBooks to Salesforce.
Permissions Overview
The new permissions tab allows administrators to view the permission sets assigned to users.
Permission Set Changes:
QuickBooks Admin Access:
Only users with the QB Admin permission set can access the QuickBooks setup page.
The following permissions should be given to the user profile:
All custom Metadata
Configuration Application
Modify Metadata through Metadata API
All custom Settings
QuickBooks Business Access:
Users with the QB Business permission set can sync data and have full access to custom objects within the package, including the ability to modify records like QuickBooks financial accounts.

QuickBooks Read-only Access:
Users with the ‘QB Read-only’ permission set can only view custom object’s record within the package, without making changes.
Log Records Management:
Automatic Deletion of Log Records: Log records will now be automatically deleted after 7 days. Users also have the option to adjust the frequency of log record clearance to suit their needs.
Major Updates
Changes to Free Features:
SF to QB Data Sync: This feature is now part of the paid version.
Multiple QB Companies: The free version no longer allows integration with multiple QuickBooks companies.
Note: In the free version, users can import both historical and real time data from QuickBooks to Salesforce.
